Dedicated servers in London

From London you get a short hop to Amsterdam and Paris, well-connected reach to Frankfurt and Dublin, and a single transatlantic hop to New Jersey.

Not from London itself: we do not run a looking-glass daemon in that metro yet, so London is not in the location list. Amsterdam is the nearest node, and a test from there gives you a close read on the path into the UK. The looking glass runs ping, traceroute and BGP lookups from every metro where a daemon does run.

London is a network point of presence as well as a place we build servers, so you can take IP transit and a BGP session there without renting hardware from us. Ports and commits are matched to your traffic rather than sold from a fixed list, and you can announce your own prefixes once you send a Letter of Authorisation and your IRR and RPKI records are in order. Tell our network team your expected volume, target metros and ASN and they will come back with options.

Yes. London configurations are quoted and built to order, and what arrives is a single-tenant machine with full root, every core, and no hypervisor between your kernel and the CPU. The server is unmanaged by default, so patching and firewall policy on the box are yours to run. Managed options can be arranged if you would rather not run them yourself.

The hardware sits in London and it is single-tenant, so your data is processed in the UK under UK GDPR rather than moved to an EU or US site. The Serverside entity named in our terms and on your invoice is the contracting party; ask us for our data processing agreement if your legal team needs it on file. Amsterdam, a short hop away, is the usual second site when you also need an EU-resident copy.
