Why we built it

We built Serverside.com because we needed it ourselves. Our sister company Host Havoc ran its game servers on hardware rented from other providers, where every fault meant waiting behind someone else's ticket queue. So we set out to do one thing, and do it well from day one: bare metal on our own hardware, our own network and our own console.

Serverside.com is run by its three co-founders: Clay Berndt as CEO, Chris Johnson as CFO and Jesse Schokker as CTO, who leads the engineering behind the network and the platform's automation.
