Organizations

SSH keys

Store public SSH keys for use when deploying servers.

Add a public key

  1. Open your organization in the cloud console and select SSH Keys.
  2. Select Add Key and enter a name.
  3. Paste the complete public key on one line, including its type, such as ssh-ed25519.
  4. Save the key.

Paste the contents of the .pub file. Keep the private key on your computer; never upload it.

If you need a new key pair, create it locally:

ssh-keygen -t ed25519

Use the key

Select the saved key when deploying a Linux server. Connect with the matching private key using the SSH guide.

Organization keys are public keys only. They cannot recover a lost private key. Keep a secure backup of your private key and its passphrase.
