Clay Berndt is the chief executive officer of Serverside.com, a tech-first player in the IaaS space offering flexible infrastructure through bare-metal and virtualised solutions. He has spent more than a decade managing globally distributed server infrastructure, teams and service lines across the hosting industry.
He is also the CEO of Host Havoc, the game-server hosting company he has led since 2013. Host Havoc has served more than 200,000 customers and works alongside game developers to bring their multiplayer titles to market: consumer-scale operational experience that now shapes how Serverside builds its bare-metal cloud.
Clay is an AWS-certified Solutions Architect, bilingual in English and French, and based in Ottawa, Canada. Outside of hosting, he holds a commercial pilot licence.
